To date, there is no vaccine available to prevent coronavirus. Keeping the current situation in mind, the best way to prevent yourself from getting infected is to minimize exposure. COVID-19 spreads mainly from coming in close contact (within 2 meters) with an infected person and through an infected person’s respiratory droplets.
Take steps to slow the spread and flatten the curve.
Practice good hygiene. Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water or clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching your face (nose, eyes, and mouth).
Disinfect frequently used items or frequently touched surfaces.
Maintain at least 2 meters or 6 feet distance between yourself and others. Avoid going to crowded places.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay at home if you feel sick.
Make sure to follow good respiratory hygiene.
