Distancing in Public Transport
Social distancing is a critical element in the present COVID-19 crisis. The pandemic has brought new challenges in day-to-day life. One such challenge is using public transport and keeping yourself safe from getting infected. When using any public transportation, remember to follow general preventive protocols such as:
Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after exiting the public transport or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, mouth, and nose with unwashed hands.
Wear a face mask.
Always cover your sneezes and coughs with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow.
During travel, follow physical distancing (stay at least 6 feet away) from other people.
Avoid touching frequently touched surfaces such as kiosks, ticket machines, buttons, etc.
